Recalling Rest

"My head was turned by your sweet, ripe sun,
I thought you'd left me, fields to run.
Oh wintersong, you're back to see,

"My head was turned by your sweet, ripe sun,
I thought you'd left me, fields to run.
Oh wintersong, you're back to see,
Love's silent timbre set me free.
You're floating down in luminous gown,
sprinkling wisdom all around.
Recalling rest, blankets deep,
until birds of green wake my sleep."
