Cracked In

Photo: CRACKED IN
By Judith Froemming

"A crack in the earth creates a river of life,
A crack in the heart opens the way to compassion,
A crack in the mind falls a wall of beliefs,
A crack in the flesh dances the moment in."

A crack in the heart opens the way to compassion,
A crack in the mind falls a wall of beliefs,
A crack in the dogma dances unity in."

Here or there

Photo: HERE OR tHERE
By Judith Froemming

"There is the past.
There were mistakes made,
there were relationships derailed,
there were rejections,
there were slights and oversights.
There is not here.

There is the future.
there are bills to pay,
there is work to do,
there are changes to make,
there are dreams to manifest,
There is not here.

The first letter of there is a cross.
when I am not here,
I am on the cross of there.
When I am on the cross of there,
I am here,
suffering.

I choose to end my suffering,
I choose to consciously be here.
Mindfully present breath
draws me here,
now.

When my mind is not there,
suffering,
I am powerfully here,
now."

"When the heart says 'Yes,'

Love opens the door,
to enter a still, present moment,
home of clarity and candor."

"Ah, ancient moonetic call.
You open wide your wise full eye,
cast golden light on my bowed brow,
and I sail into your harbor of Love."

Love All The Way

"This physical ride lasts a minute or two,
dreams up and plans down, twirls 'round and pulls through.
Cling on for fear life, or Love all the way,
There's more than one choice, it's yours any way."

"Canopy of love,

light on her branches,
generous she shelters,
my heart O'leaf dances."

draw the silky cool splashes of Love to your flesh.
There is no other moment
more alive than this."

Stillness as a Cat

"'Yes, it is wise to just sit,' said the cat.
When I sit, I'm just that, stillness as a cat.
A cat who purrs about having sat,
is sitting in the past, and now isn't that."

"My tears are alive, my locks are true,
my eyes see all, my heart sees you,
I belong where I stand, my home is here,
my skin is everyone, my mind is clear."

Eat Flowers For Breakfast

Photo: EAT FLOWER FOR BREAKFAST
By Judith Froemming

"Eat flowers for breakfast,
drink sunlight for lunch.
bathe in starlight at bedtime,
kneel in prayer at tree's trunk.

Sing songs on gazelle legs,
paint portraits with peace,
sleep in the ocean,
beat your heart in release."
